Maintenance tools

Two small pages under Administration › Maintenance round out the operator's toolkit: the UNDO list and the Version page.

UNDO list

Administration › Maintenance › UNDO List shows pending undo operations — typically delete operations that were performed with an undo grace period, such as deleted notes or deleted report history. Each entry shows the date/time, a description of what was deleted, and the user who initiated it, with an UNDO action to reverse the operation while the entry is still pending.

The list can be searched by description and filtered by user. When the list is empty, the page reads "UNDO list is empty".

Note

The UNDO list is a recovery convenience, not a backup. Once an entry is gone from the list, the deletion is final — restoring the data then is a database-restore exercise.

Version

Administration › Maintenance › Version collects the version of every component in one place:

  • Web portal version.
  • PostgreSQL, Python, Redis, and OS versions.
  • A recorder table with the version of each running recorder, its service uptime ("Service started/stopped … ago"), or "Unknown" when the version cannot be determined. When no recorders are registered, the page shows "No recording servers detected".

Have this page open (or a screenshot of it) when contacting MiaRec support — component versions are the first thing a support case needs.
