Audit trail

The audit trail records who did what, across every tenant: sign-ins and sign-outs, playback and download of recordings, configuration changes, job and report activity, encryption-key grants, replication transfers, and more. As a root operator you see the cross-tenant view at Administration › Audit Trail; each tenant administrator sees the same feature scoped to their own organization — that customer-side view is documented in Audit trail in the Administration Guide.

The cross-tenant view

The All Audit Log tab lists records from all tenants, newest first. Each row shows the date, the initiator (the user who performed the action, with login), the resource affected, and the action with its details; View opens the full record including the changed data.

Filters on the list tab: a date range, a user-or-group picker, free-text Search in DATA, and Filter by Resource / Filter by Action. The Advanced Search tab adds precise criteria — including Tenant and Tenant - ID, which is how you narrow the cross-tenant log to one organization (or to records with no tenant association, i.e. system-level activity).

Inline audit trails

Most operator record pages — a tenant, a speech engine, a job — embed a collapsible audit-trail panel at the bottom showing only that record's history. It is often faster than filtering the global log.

Retention settings

The Retention Settings tab (also reachable at Administration › Audit Trail › Retention) controls automatic cleanup of audit records: Delete old audit logs (Do not delete / Delete) and the retention period in days, minimum 30. The default is unlimited retention — decide a policy deliberately, since audit records are compliance evidence for your tenants: the customer-side documentation tells administrators that retention "is configured by your service provider".

Audit reports

The Audit Trail Details Report and Audit Trail Summary Report types turn the log into schedulable, exportable reports. Their columns and filter semantics are documented in Audit reports; as an operator you can additionally create them as global reports or per tenant.
