Storage targets
A storage target is a named connection to a storage destination that your organization provides — an Amazon S3 bucket or an FTP/FTPS or SFTP server. Storage targets are managed under Administration › Storage › Storage Targets: the list shows each target's Name, Type, and Root Path, with Add and Delete in the toolbar.
Managed by your service provider
Defining a target only registers the connection — where and how it is used (for example, writing or exporting your organization's recordings to it) is configured by your service provider. Talk to your provider before adding a target so it is put to use.
Adding a storage target
Click Add and configure:
- Name — how the target is referenced.
- Type — Amazon S3, SFTP, or FTP/FTPS.
- The type-specific connection settings:

Click Save and Test to save the target and immediately verify the connection with the credentials you entered.
Testing a connection
On a saved target's page, Test a Connection re-checks that the platform can reach the destination and authenticate — use it after credential rotations or firewall changes. The page also shows the target's configuration (with secrets hidden).
