Major changes
[Python] Upgrade Python version
We updated the web portal application (miarecweb) to newer python versions (3.10 and 3.11). Older python versions (3.6 and 3.8) are not supported anymore.
Recommended version is 3.11 as it has a slightly better performance than 3.10.
Before installing this MiaRec software update, you must install Python 3.11.7 on the server(s) using instructions in the Installation Guide.
Minor changes
[SFTP] Improvements to SFTP-based storage targets
The changes include:
- Improve robustness of SFTP protocol when network is unstable
- Add newer ciphers for SFTP protocol
- Fix compatibility issue with SFTP servers that limit a number of SSH channels to 10 (or so) per network socket
