Integrations

The Integrations catalog connects MiaRec to your telephony platform and to your single sign-on provider. Telephony integrations bring conversations into MiaRec; single sign-on integrations let your users sign in with their existing accounts.

Where: Administration › System › Integrations. The catalog has three tabs — All, Single Sign-On, and Telephony — and each available integration shows its connection status and a Connect button.

Telephony integrations

Telephony integrations pull recordings from your platform's own recording service on a schedule, or provision your platform to deliver conversation media to MiaRec. Depending on your deployment, the catalog can include Microsoft Teams, Twilio, Webex Native Recording, and a generic "Other phone platform" entry.

To connect one, click Connect and follow the integration's authorization flow — you sign in to the platform (or supply its API credentials) and grant MiaRec access. Some integrations include additional activation steps; for example, Webex Native Recording links platform users to MiaRec users so that each synced conversation is attributed correctly.

Platform-specific setup steps are documented in the dedicated integration guides — this page does not repeat them:

Managed by your service provider

Which integrations appear in your catalog depends on your deployment. Phone systems that deliver media directly to the MiaRec recorder — such as Cisco, BroadWorks, Metaswitch, and Avaya platforms — are connected at the recorder level by your service provider and do not appear in this catalog.

Sync behavior

For integrations that pull recordings from your platform (such as Twilio Flex or Webex Native Recording), MiaRec fetches new recordings on a recurring schedule; each synced recording becomes a regular conversation and is transcribed and analyzed automatically. (Recorder-based integrations such as Microsoft Teams deliver media to the recorder directly and do not use a pull schedule.) The recurring sync runs as a job — you can see its schedule and history under Administration › Jobs; see Jobs.

Single sign-on integrations

The Single Sign-On tab lists identity providers your users can sign in with — for example Google, Microsoft, or Webex. Connecting one enables the corresponding sign-in button on the login page and lets users link their accounts. How SSO login and account linking work — including enablement, mandatory SSO, and restricted domains — is covered in Single sign-on.
